About This Product

Nine girls, nine gifts, one box — the Navratri tradition where every item comes in nines. Kanya Pujan (also called Kanjak) is the Navratri tradition where nine girls representing the nine forms of Durga are worshipped on Ashtami or Navami. Each girl receives tilak, a red chunri, a brass coin, and prasad. The logistics of preparing individual gift sets for nine kanyas is the pain point this box solves. Nine items, each pre-portioned in quantities of nine: 9 mini chunris, 9 brass coins, 9 dhoop cones, 9 pre-cut moli threads. The kumkum-haldi-akshat covers all nine tilaks. Kala chana and ghee-mishri form the prasad distributed to each girl. Kanya Pujan occurs during both Chaitra and Sharad Navratri (March–April and September–October), creating two annual demand windows. North Indian communities (UP, Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab) observe it most widely. The nine-of-everything packaging is the value proposition: mothers hosting Kanya Pujan need exactly nine sets, and this box provides them without individual counting. Available for private label with custom packaging. MOQ on request.
