About This Product

One of the most widely chanted mantras in Hinduism — and a havan kit with traditional Ayurvedic herbs for the fire offering. Mahamrityunjaya Jaap Havan is the fire offering accompanying the recitation of the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (Tryambakam) — a prayer traditionally offered for well-being. It is performed for recovery from illness, longevity, and averting danger. The havan samagri is specifically formulated with Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia) and Guggul — herbs long used in Ayurvedic tradition. Eleven items, strictly Shiva-compliant: bhasma instead of kumkum, white chandan instead of yellow, bel-leaf dhoop instead of floral. No haldi, no kumkum, no Tulsi — the prohibitions are enforced. The black sesame and barley serve the tarpan component of the ceremony. Demand is event-driven: serious illness, surgery, health scares, and astrological warnings trigger Mahamrityunjaya havans. Families also perform it annually for general health and longevity. Hospitals, Ayurvedic clinics, and yoga centres are secondary distribution channels. Strictly compliant: no haldi, kumkum, or Tulsi included. Available for private label with custom packaging. MOQ on request.

The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra — ‘Om Tryambakam Yajamahe’ — invokes Shiva as the conqueror of death. The havan that accompanies 1,25,000 repetitions of this mantra is among the most widely performed Vedic havans for well-being, and its Giloy-Guggul samagri draws on Ayurvedic tradition.
