The actual flowers are sourced locally each day, but the base samagri — haldi for the Gauramma idol, dhoop, kapoor, and puja essentials — remains constant throughout. Nine items providing the stable foundation: haldi for creating the symbolic Gauramma figure at the bathukamma’s centre, floral-blend dhoop cones (jasmine, rose, marigold scent — since the kit cannot include real flowers, the dhoop carries the floral element), and the brass agal vilakku that is the South Indian lamp tradition.
